Thank you to everyone!
Dad did well today- surgery went as expected- no surprises.

Mom and I saw him in the ICU twice late this afternoon while he was still sedated and on the respirator. After I went home, she went back and they were starting to wake him up. He saw her and was starting to fight to pull out the breathing tube- that's a good sign. So the nurse sent her out for dinner and said when she came back he should be breathing on his own and more awake.

I know Mom was exhausted tonight, so I will not talk to her again until tomorrow. But it sounds like all the Pixie Dust and good vibes have come through once again.

I am working all day tomorrow, but can get back to see him on Thursday. I'll post another update later in the week.

Dad moved out of the ICU this afternoon to a regular room. He is walking a little bit- more to come tomorrow. He's looking pretty good and feeling better and more relaxed now that he's out of the ICU.

I leave for WDW tomorrow- so I will not see him again until after he's home recovering. But I am leaving on vacation feeling great that he came through with flying colors!!
