Pixie Dust Request - Applied for another job today UPDATE #6

I sent in my resume for another job within my company today. I was told by someone who would be my colleague (but has no decision in the hiring) that she thought I had a "good shot". I really, really, really want this job. Any pixie dust, good thoughts, anything you can share would be greatly appreciated. The job posting was extended yesterday to April 15 (from April 1), so I have a while to wait. I don't know if I can stand it.

Thanks for the good thoughts! I keep checking my e-mail and voicemail, hoping to hear something today (at least an acknowledgement). I know I just have to be patient.

I found out from my friend today that I'm one of the Top 2 candidates. The other candidate has more knowledge of my company's systems (less training), by I have a better, broader overall background. So, we'll see. I have no idea when they plan to interview. Hopefully very soon! I'll be practicing my interview responses this weekend.
