Since I got terminated from the daycare I had been working at, I've been looking for work. I've turned in a bunch of applications and sent my resume' hither and yon to various places.

Today I got a call back from one of them, a local drycleaners. I have an interview on Weds and hopefully it will go well. I want to hope, but not too hard. I don't believe in getting your hopes up too high because then you're just setting yourself up for disappointment if what you want doesn't happen. KWIM?

But I figure there's no harm in asking for P and PD, because well..you can always use PD right?

*Update-- I had the interview today and it went very well, I think. The GM/owner said she would call me back soon and I have a feeling she is going to offer me a job.

Thanks guys. I hope this leads to a job, because as much as I like staying at home with DS, I have been working since the age of 15 and this just feels wierd to me. It's wierd not to be bringing home a paycheck and while we can get by for now, eventually it's going to get tough without some additional income coming in.

Plus DMIL misses taking care of DS for us. She has an 'addiction' as she calls it to him.
