Some pixie dust please
4 days till we leave and I've come down with Shingles -had them for over a week but thought the pain was maybe related to shoveling snow . --nope not the kind on your roof,,the cousin of chicken pox. But no matter what I'm getting on that airplane come Sunday! And no I'm not contagious just in pain.

OUCH! to you, Mel! I know that they are painful, but enjoy your vacation!

OUCH!! I know that pain all too well! Once your blisters are gone, I HIGHLY recommend Neuragen, it is a spray that you put on locally to the spot where it hurts. It literally takes the pain with in 10 minutes! Get the larger bottle because it has the pump spray that the smaller one does not have.

Get to a walk in clinic or your doctor and get some Zovirax pills. The ointment may help too.
I've had shingles and the Zovirax helped it calm down and go away.

Doc put me on neurotonin for the pain,,,can yah say wow--I slept for 18 hours,
guess I haven't been sleeping well lately. I picked up some calamine lotion with an antihistimine for the rash and it seems to be helping the itch. Definately can't drive or work on the neurotonin stuff though. Thanks again
