Pixie dust needed update page 2

[Megan's Mom]

This morning we took our DD to the ER she had spent the night with her grandparents last night and had trouble breathing all night and ran a fever last night and then again this morning. They met us at the ER and after taking blood twice, and an x-ray they determined that she had pnemonia in her right lung. So they are going to keep her for a few days and get that knocked out. Since she has other health problems the doctor was taking extra precausions. DH is staying with her tonight and I will take tomorrow nights shift. He is suppose to go out of town Monday with work so we will see how things are going. But when I left at 10:00 tonight they still haven't given her her IV with the antibiotic in it yet so I don't know how we will knock it out without drugs. She was resting better when I left. I hope that they don't have a long night tonight.

How was the night? Surely they started the IV with the antibioitcs.




My Dad has pneumonia right now, too. He refused to be hospitailized because he startes teaching this coming week. But, luckily, he is feeling much better.

Thanks for all the prayers and pixie dust. We were released from the hospital this morning bright and early. She sounded much better yesterday but they were taking precations so that we didn't end up back there again. The doctor on call Saturday morning said taht he had treated a lot of upper respitory problems this past week. Of course grandparents came and got her so that we wouldn't have to miss any more of work. You know how grandparents are they don't think you can take care of the grandchildren. She enjoyes it better there than at home anyway they let her do what she wants to. I hope that is isn't the beginning of a bad school year. We have to get well to go to WDW for fall break.
