So my inlaws have this tradition of taking the grandkids to WDW the summer after they graduate from 8th grade. It's fun, everyone loves it, the kids look forward to it so much. My DD and her cousin were set to go last summer when my MIL got very sick with her COPD and ended up in the hospital. Trip cancelled. 
DVC graciously let them cancel their points at OKW and gave them back to them. 
Trip had to be rescheduled to this summer because of schedule conflicts. Well...three weeks ago my MIL fell and shattered her leg. Surgery, 10 pins, rehab facility. You guessed it, trip not happening next week.
FIL is calling today to see if he can get their points moved to sometime in the first 10 days of August or so. That is what's left of the girls' summer schedules.

The girls are so understanding, but my poor MIL is super upset that she's the cause of the wrinkle in plans yet again.
