Pixie Dust needed for myself & work partner...

Friday was an AWFUL day for us at work! I work in an elementary school cafeteria,and the woman I work with is 60. There are only the two of us in the kitchen and as she was walking across the floor,her femur just snapped! She is now out of work through the end of the school year I can't begin to guess why her bone just snapped ( maybe osteoparosis(sp?)) and I feel awful for her, but they have not found anyone to work with me yet !!!The principle has said whoever calls gets the job,and I am scared to death I'm going to either wind up with a retiree who isn't able to pull her share (there is some heavy lifting etc..& slippery floors) or some lazy dead beat.Please pray that someone really good will come along, and if anyone here lives in the Greenfield/Charlemont area of western Ma. and wants to work 7-1 until the end of the school year,please P.M. me !!!

That is horrible. Sure hope your co-worker is on the mend VERY soon and that you get soemone to work with that is outstanding!! {{{HUGS}}}

I hope that your co-worker will heal up quickly. That is just awful that it happened to her. I also hope that you get a good person to work with in the mean time

YIKES! I've heard of this happening because of osteoporosis. Sorry to hear about your coworker, I hope she is able to control her pain with medication.

I hope you find a very helpful and energetic person to work with you until the end of the school year.

I will keep you and her in my prayers. Wow...practically a job offer on here! I wish one would show up for my area! I'll be looking for a summer job while attending one class at school.
