For all of us that are going this week, let's concentrate not on worrying about the crowd levels, but on spreading a little pixie dust when we are there. :) When the crowds hit, take a breath, look around you and remember, You Are In Disney World!!! :teeth:

Then let's see how we might could make others around us feel the magic!!

I'm with you on this one! Maybe the more of us that are smiling and taking things in stride, the less frustrating the crowds will be!

Not going but hope you all have a great time and if you can spread a little magic it will go a long way in helping others have a great time to. :goodvibes :wizard: :goodvibes :wizard:

We went last year the week of Easter. It just happed to be the 4-10. We didn't know what to expect. When we went to MK we did this. We went right when they opened. Needless to say this was our first time and everything was walk on...about 12:30 or 1 we left...we came back later that day and it was much more dooable....

03/20 thru 03/25...I plan to take whatever happens in stride...I will leave all my cares here...with each passing mile..I will get so full of happiness, that by the time I reach WDW I will be ready to burst :Pinkbounc

See you at the pools for those afternoon breaks nearlychildless! We're hoping to do the same at POR.

March 21-30th here! I'm in too! Getting frusterated won't make the lines move any faster! Take breaks during the day, have a nice drink or two, and remember to relax! We're all on vacation, afterall. Can't wait to see you all there! :grouphug: :wizard:

We will be there too! Save a pool chair for me in the afternoons! My wife thinks we should stay in commando mode but it aint gonna happen. I think she will settle for a boat ride to DTD while I set a spell w/ the kids by the Pool. Besides, I need my beauty sleep for those extra magic hours in the evenings. :rotfl:

Anybody else planning to be at MK at7:oo AM? We're planning to try.

Impressive! What time will you be leaving your hotel? We'll probably make it there just before 8.

I don't know. I'm guessing between 6:30 and 6:45. That's the goal anyway. Our kids are early risers anyway so (eventhough it is a tad early) this is a much better schedule for us. If we went to the parks at 8 or 9, the kids would have been up since 6:30 anyway and would not make it to the evening EHM in any event.

We're planning to grab our coffee and hit the road, I mean Magic Kingdom, with it. We'll get the kids a light breakfast to carry along and then stop for a second breakfast later. (Hopefully after we've ridden many biggies before the crowds hit. That way we can chill out and enjoy.) We'll probably never make it to a night parade or fireworks, but I'll gladly trade those for a few uncrowded hours each morning.

After our rough winter, it will be a treat just to be outside with coats and layers.

We're planning on arriving at MK on one morning at 6:45. I made PS for character breakfast at CP at 10:25. Who would have thought we'd have 3 hours of ride time before our breakfast? If it's a mob scene after bkfst, we'll go back to the hotel, rest, take naps, and come back one night for the evening EMH.

See you at the pool at POFQ (or if that gets too crowded, we'll head over to a quiet pool at POR)

So early EMH hours at MK are 7am? I have seen this question on another thread and I was wondering too. Since sleeping in for my son is 6am anyway, I think we can make it at 7am. By the way, the Disney website shows MK has early EMH from the 20th-31st, so 7am all those days? I'm just wondering if we go to MK at 7am and leave around lunch time, do you think it will be too crowded to get back in after dinner?

This is what I am asssuming from looking at the official website. I hope they don't change it now that I have my heart set. I'm excited because it sounds like it will be super packed! I'm hoping the early opening makes up for it.

We're planning on heading back to the hotel when the crowds come in too -around lunch. Do I think it will be crowded in the evenings? I do. I don't know if my family will go back on the evenings or not since we will have been up so long. Maybe we'll go to Epcot after our afternoon breaks. I wonder what the crowds will be like there?

I think it will be fun (extra adventurous?) to be at MK so early. I'll wave to you DISers (or someone I think is you) at the gate!

It will be an adventure we'll all remember!! :goodvibes
Let's make good memories! :flower: And like someone previously said, to just take everything in stride.

We will be at POR part of the week before Easter, we arrive the 24th. I spoke to a CM today and she had to put me on hold to check but she verified YES MK WILL BE OPEN 7am the March 20-31st. Originally she quoted the regular MK EMH hours but I told her according to Disney's website there are morning EMH for all of those days and she doubled checked and came back with the answer! Also a good thing I called to check because the time for our Wishes cruise had changed and I had no idea :confused3
