We had a 1-bdrm pool/garden view booked at BWV in Oct for Sun-W & F nights & were waitlisted for Thurs night. Dh and I thought we might want to stay at AKV (savannah view) for the last 2 nights of our trip so I called today but savannah view wasn't available. The CM then asked, "Do you not want to stay at BWV the entire week? I see a room available at BWV for that Thurs night that matches the rest of your stay."


So we're now at BWV for the entire week in Oct!

Congratulations! However, this makes me wonder about the waitlist system. Why weren't you notified that your waitlist was available? Altho I guess it's possible that it had just opened up.

It does point out the flawed waitlist system though...
Anyone could have grabbed that room...
It should have been hers or some else waitlisted automatically.
It should not have shown up in inventory.

It does confirm that they waitlist system is iffy. That's why we were worried about being on the waitlist for that one night and considered a split stay. We were worried our waitlist would somehow be overlooked.
