For some reason, I have decided to add a little more to my plate and organize/start a Little Flowers Girls Club troop here at our parish. (Actually, I have felt called to do so for awhile.) Little Flowers is a Catholic girls club similar in set up to Girl Scouts.
They emphasize various virtues (faith, love of God, love of neighbor, industry, mercy, etc.) using activities and studying certain saints. I will have to talk to the priest to see if he will approve allowing us to use the school to hold meetings and if he will allow me to send out brochures with the bulliten, etc. Then I will have to organize depending on the interest I recieve.
All in all I am excited about it, but I would appreciate prayers and pixie dust that I am not going in over my head and that I get the guidance I need to give the girls the most out of the group!
