Pixar Play Parade Back

The parade is in soft opening starting today at 5pm. I heard it was opening today so hurried to DCA after work and made it just in time to sit front row in from of the Carthay Circle Theater. I loved it and can't wait to see it again! I don't know the next showing as it's not listed on the entertainment schedules, but they did announce it over the loudspeakers in the park.

I'm sooooo excited for this! I feel ashamed for all the years ive been going, I have never seen this. It's on the top of my to do list this year.

Me too! I have always seemed to miss it in the past, but I am making a point to see it this summer! Looks great!

Thank you so much for that update!! We have yet to see it and I'm so excited it soft-opened before the 15th! Your pictures are great!

Can someone keep us updated on how often it's running during this Soft-opening period before the 15th? Is it every day, or just weekends? Is it just once a day at 5:00pm? As of June 15th it's scheduled for 2x/day at both 2:00 and 5:00pm. I'm hoping my family can see it on Wed. June 13th and I want to prioritize it into our schedule for that day! I'll have more luck seeing it if it shows 2x that day. Fingers crossed. TIA!

I'm SO happy this is back! My DD4 is obsessed with Jesse & Woody, so I can't wait to see her face when we get to see this parade in September. Thanks for the pics!

Do the "floats" in the parade still spray water? My kids absolutely loved that part of the parade!

Disneylandfan1: I have no idea what the future schedule is, as it wasn't in the entertainment flyer, but I would assume they would do one a day on the weekend. I heard a rumor on mousewait and got there in time to see the green tap on the ground and a few people sitting down, so I knew it was going to happen. I'm guessing just ask when you arrive and see what the cms say.

Jocobsmommy: yes they do and it was something I wasn't aware of, but a fun surprise. it's not a ton of water, but I did get hit from a few different floats by sitting front row. It was perfect as it was just enough splash to cool off, but by no means drenching.

AT the moment, its only scheduled to go again one more time before the relaunch, next Friday as well on the 8th. And then its SUPPOSE to go dark until the 15th! That said things do change and there is a chance more soft openings could happen but you cant rely on that obviously!

So at the moment, your chances are probably pretty slim it will happen at this point. But if they end up showing it on the 11th, then yeah it will probably play daily, even just once a day, until opening! So the 11th will probably determine if it happens, but my guess is it wont.
