Pixar Movies Worst to Best

You know I don't hate Cars or even Cars 2 as much as the rest of the internet does. That said, by Pixar standards it is... unspecial.

I like the original and don't hate the second one but the second one wasn't as good as the first.

I disliked Cars 2 and MU... I didn't realize Good Dino was that bad...

But the most HATED movie of Pixar and all time (for me) is Nemo!!! I can't stand that movie! I think Nemo is a spoiled rotten little brat comparable to Calliou!

Wow, I love nemo. We are currently painting a nemo themed bathroom lol.

I totally forgot about Brave, but for the most part I agree with the list.

I think the thing is I really don't hate any Pixar movies. Some are weaker than others (Cars 2, Brave and Monsters University fall in that pile for me) but I've seen bad animated movies. Pixar has never made one of those.

That's exactly it. I've seen them all except for good dinosaur and they all really aren't bad just some are better than others.

I'm probably the only person on earth who has Cars[1] at or the near the top of the pile. I wasn't born in America, and I'm not old enough to remember Route 66, but the slow passage in the middle always gets me ridiculously misty eyed and sentimental about a time and place I've never even known. Where a lot of Pixar movies can feel a bit manipulative, bluntly striving to line up a weepy moment, Cars felt natural, and much more like something that was coming from the hearts of the writers and animators.

Of course I also have a little girl who seems to be growing up very quickly all of a sudden, so Inside Out was a bit of a gut punch too. I could have done without seeing that at a movie theater. It's hard to maintain a reputation of being a cantankerous old sod, when publicly blubbing at cartoons.

As for Toy Story, I realize this is akin to farting in church, but meh. The first was obviously a milestone for it's time, and the third had 10 good minutes at the start, but other than that, I can pass.

[1] Cars 2 on the other hand I try to forget entirely.

I'd have Brave way down next to Cars 2 and Wall-E way up near the top. But hey... clickbait!

Nemo is arguably the best effort Pixar has every done...wall-e and up are also in that conversation.

Toy story 3 is overrated on most lists and I believe to be the worst of the 3...

I thought monsters u was underrated.

Original cars I liked a lot...second was Walmart issue trash.

To me Wall-E is way too low and Inside Out should be about in the middle. But otherwise it's not a bad list.

Wall-E I loved, Inside Out is my top Pixar movie of all time. And my most hated is the Incredibles (can't believe they voted it #2!) we found that movie so incredibly BORING :crazy2: haha

Cars is in my top 5 for sure. Top 3 if I lump all the Toy Story movies together. But Cars 2 is the only Pixar movie I've never seen, and really don't have the desire to, due to it's bad rating and the fact that it doesn't take place in America. What I loved so much about cars was the Route 66 tie-in, not the racing.

I agree mostly with the list. I want to see Good Dinosaur again. I didn't enjoy it, but there was a group of rambunctious teenagers in the theater who completely ruined the experience and I spent the whole time glaring at them and being mad instead of watching the movie. But I'd put the movies on 3 tiers.

Cars 2, Good Dinosaur, Brave, U

Bugs Life, Toy Story 2, Ratatouille, Incredibles

Toy Story, Toy Story 3, Nemo, Monster's Inc, Cars, Up, Inside Out

I find it hard to rank beyond that, but I think Toy Story will always be my favorite.
