Well, we made our annual pilgrimage to the Pittsburgh RV show friday night. I have to agree with some of the other threads about other shows, this one was kinda a let down. They used to be both floors of the convention center, then it went down to 1 a couple years ago, and this year, they couldn't even fill up one... they were trying to make it look full by having a few companies set up crossways, and side ways etc, and it made it hard to negotiate the isles.

I am not sure which dealers weren't there, but I know a couple big ones were abscent, and to fill in, they got a dealer from the other side of the state??? It was nice to see someone there, but it would be hard to deal with a company 6 hrs away.

We have been going to the RV show for about 7 yrs now, and since we bought our mountaineer, we have not found a TT that we like better, that is until this year!!!

We found our new camper, we just need to rob a bank to finance it! The Montanna 3750fl. We look at class A's, and all the others, but never see anything that fit our needs better than what we have. But I have to say, that Montanna ROCKS!!!!

We are currently taking donations to pay for our latest love... anyone interested???

John, let me be the first to donate to your cause. It's the least I can do since you're taking all of us on a cruise. How much would you like?

(you do accept monopoly money, right?)

lol

I'd sell my house and live in that, but my wife might not go for the idea.

Jim, Erica and I agree, the day Matt goes out the front door to college, we are heading out the back to a new camper, and she will be a traveling nurse. She can make dang good money, we can live in a camper like this, and travel at the same time, sounds like heaven to me! I just hope I live long enough to do it... LOL.... oh yeah, if Matt decides to not go to college, we will just kick his butt out, cash out his college fund, and buy a REEEEAAAALLLY nice camper!

John , we would be happy to donate our aluminum can collection toward your new camper, :thumbsup2

I'm hearing rumors on the T@B owners forum on Yahoo that the Nashville RV show has been cancelled for next month. However I have yet to find official notice of this yet, according to the convention center website it is still scheduled.

The boat show here this year was 'pitiful.' Half the vendors it used to have, that's $10 bucks and two hours or less of my life I'll never get back!

I heard theres a Fishing Expo/Show this month in Nashville this month.:woohoo:

My wife and I were talking tonight about our camper. (Keep in mind that we just upgraded from a 23' TT without any slides to a 29' 5'er with a slide....major step up for us) So she says..."you know, we should have bought a bigger camper", and I say "what about a 39' toy hauler". "Yeah, that's what we need" she replied.

So send some aluminum cans our way too.:)

I must be way too nice. Our boys are both in college and keep coming back home. We did finally turn one of their rooms into a computer room, but only recently. I guess I've seen to many friends of mine whose children moved out too soon and are racking up debt, ruining their credit, and mom & dad are spending way more bailing them out than if they just stayed at home.

Carol, I am one of those kids, I mooched off my Dad forever, that is why I am moving the second Matt turns his back, that way he can't do it to me!!!:lmao:

I see the Nashville show is gone from the Convention Center Sked.
