Pirates ride backlog

Anyone at the park over the Wine and Dine marathon weekend? We rode pirates twice (since when we were in for 4th of July it was closed for refurb).

We noticed that both times, around the end of the ride / near the dog and prisoner scene the ride would always get backed up. We sat there for a good time (5 - 10 minutes) just waiting in a packed crowd to get to the end and exit. It seems like that would be a constant delay and slow the flow down.

Anyone else notice this, or was it just because of an influx of visitors? I realize handicap exits will slow down the process, but I wouldn't think to this degree.

Same at it's a small world.

It can really back up depending on the people disembarking on the boats in front of you.

I've seen back log before but way past your area you speak of , maybe they they had several people with special needs to unload . Most likely they were having mechanical problems. Sorry I know its frustrating but seems this attraction has had problems awhile for now.

I don't mind the end of POTC at DL b/c you can wave to the people in line.
