If they booted you and sold your room, you got it through the multi-use code. They know whether or not you really got it from the parks, and if not your room is deleted and taken from your player like it should be.

Any time you trade for codes of any kind, you run the risk of being ripped off. This time, everyone who got the quest rooms KNEW those codes were meant to be one time use codes and traded them anyway as multi-use codes. I'm sorry you traded for a bad code. It happens.
Always be careful when trading for codes.

It's a little comical in a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World type of way. You get something that did not belong to you or earn and/or was too good to be true and you get upset you don't get to keep it.

I understand some people traded for them and have lost their items, and I feel bad for them to an extent. They should use the contact to plead their case. Who knows maybe you get it back. I am also aware some got the code from cards legitimately and entered the codes and got credit (I know for a fact this happened to at least one on my friends) For this I also feel bad and I am sure VMK will work to correct those issues.

With enough time here in VMK we kind of learn how it operates, you have to learn to use the knowledge you gain through time. The train car codes - people got banned be glad that is not the case here. Be happy to be able to continue to participate in the game. Then the pirate outfits and Davey Jones - they were immediately taken away. So why are you so surprised a similar instance would result in a similar response.

I suggest instead of everyone being in such a rush to get the latest thing just enjoy VMK with what you have and get these items in the time they will be out. I think again I hate to side with VMK's statement that it will help us learn what did they say patience. Anyway just this week I had been pondering how much stuff myself and so many have and really for the most part while it is all nice, it is all rather pointless leaving us with rooms and rooms of stuff I can't even find some of it. I know it is nice to have the latest stuff out but ultimately it is not real important in the big scheme of things, I am quite sure your life will not end for lacking an item or room – just enjoy the game.

I got a well taken from me.... It was given to me so I assume it was someone who used the code multi-uses.

Alot of ppl trade good rare for these items and are sadly getting them taken away. Vmk is going to have a lot of Not so Happy emails I bet..

Actually I am not sure that is the case even though SuzyQT reported that they could...I know for a fact that Caffdawg and CL_Nedakah(sp) entered
a room of someone who in fact did the quest and was questioning them about it.

I just spoke via phone with this child's mom.

This is not right in any shape or form even if codes where entered mutliple times by the same person.

This is VMK's fault not the players and they should not be penalized because they made a blunder.

What about the people who traded good items for room codes and wells that did not know about the bug.

I do not have a room before anyone thinks I am speaking about myself.

I'm confused here, can someone let me in on what's going on? I'm going to WDW in a few weeks and am hoping to get as much VMK stuff as I can. Should I just skip the pirates quest all together? I won't waste my time if someone can just take it away from me.

I got it straight from WDW on Tuesday morning/afternoon. It was a single-use code, and the card it came from has been put away never to be seen again.

They will not forgot. They can tell what codes you put in, how many were put in, and when it was put in. This is how they know if you used the bugged codes to get the Well and Room.

I wasn't worried about how or where you got it. I was worried because they were saying they weren't sure who got theirs the correct way. If they don't know who got theirs the correct way, how do they know who's to take away?

To anyone and everyone that traded for a well/room, but the item(s) were taken away: Don't worry. They have chat and trade logs for a reason, and this situation being one of them. Use the Contact Us feature on the homepage, tell them what happened, and they will return your items if they see your situation is true. Thats all you need to do. They realize these things will happen.
