Hey everyone! So I booked this bc my son is a huge Peter Pan/Captain Hook fan. What do they do on the voyage? The only things I heard they do is play games. But shat type of games do they play? Do they serve any type of snacks? Just trying to get an idea what this entails! Thanks!

We just booked this for the first time. There are snacks at the Contemporary where you board the boat. We were told to follow the signs in the hotel to where the snacks were. I read that the snacks are set up 30 minutes before you board the boat. That is also where you meet and greet the characters.

We can't wait to do this too.

We are staying at the contemporary so it should be a fun night! My son is super excited to see Captain Hook and Peter Pan!

What time do you think we should leave MK to take the monorail over there.

We're doing this for the first time when we go in May, as our daughter LOVES Peter Pan and Hook and everything pirates. We're so excited! Sounds like you can load up on snacks prior to the cruise and then there are 'games and shenanigans' onboard before the fireworks. Then, Peter Pan is the 'surprise guest' that awaits when you get back. We're really looking forward to it! We'll be spending that day at AK with dinner at Boma at 5:45, so I'm a little nervous about making to the CR in time, but am optimistic it'll all work out. Although, I'm sure we won't be too hungry for all the snacks!

Kenny the Pirates write up will tell you everything you need to know!

We did it last November with our almost 3 year who is a HUGE hook/peter fan.

He really enjoyed meeting hook and smee. Our only complaint there was that they didnt have a photopass photog (I think it was just our luck because most every thing I have read said that there was a photog there)

He was not chosen to carry the flag but some how he managed to hold hooks hand all the way down the dock to the boat- This was magical for him and he didnt stop talking about it!

The cruise has a very funny Captain and his humor was great for the adults as well as kids. There is singing, jokes, and trivia all while on the boat.

You will have a great view of the Fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant. ( I had the sang from the pageant stuck in my head for at least 2 days)

And of course the best is when you get back to the dock and Peter is waiting- You will meet for autographs and Photos.

I absolutely recommend it!!!

Yeah we are super excited for it! It's also really nice that it's at our hotel lol...we are not late night people most of us are in bed by like 9, lol so it's good we won't have to travel far to get back to our room lol. My son can't wait to meet Captain Hook lol

You should all have a great time. We did this a few years back with my daughter and friends from Michigan who have two boys. While we waited for the doors to open to the meet and greet room, CM's handed out pirate bandanas for everyone to wear! There were plenty of snacks and drinks in a private room at the Contemporary along with time for pictures with the characters. Afterwards, we were split into groups of I think 3. We all then proceeded down to the dock and boarded our boats. The games during the cruise were fun; many trivia questions. Those who answered correctly won little prizes. The fireworks were amazing and we even got to see the electric water parade out on the water!

Enjoy!

We booked this for July. I can not WAIT!!

I would love to see some pics if you have any

Look for this guy to find the room where you'll have snacks and meet Hook and Smee

Our Pirate captain Patch - he was great!

Pan the man!

The whole family loved this experience. It's great!

Is there an availability calendar for this or how do you know when it's offered? Does it book at 180 days? Our next trip is in October and I am starting to plan things.

Thanks so much!
Dawn

I just booked this for our July trip, and can't wait! My son (7) is a HUGE Peter Pan fan, so I'm sure he will be awestruck...PP is the ONE character that is a must see for him.

For PP, I'm not sure about the schedule in the fall, but when I booked the CM said they run every night except Wed & Thurs.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, but our captain did not turn the boat for both sides to get an equal view of the fireworks. We were on the far side, so we didn't get very good pictures. Still it was fun.

Any one know what time would be best to leave MK to catch the monrail to Pirate Pals?

Unless some reason not to, walking to the Contemporary from MK would be easier and quicker. About a 10 minute walk. Pirates and Pals room opens up 1 hour and 15 minutes before Wishes scheduled time. When we did it, Wishes was at 9, we were there at 7:30. They opened up about 7:45.

I agree it would probably be faster to walk over. We're booked for July too, and the CM I spoke with said they will start admitting people at 8:45. Wishes starts at 10. We'll be at the HDDR at FW so I have my fingers crossed I have it timed right. Res is for 6:15, ending about 8:15ish. Boat ride to CR 20 minutes-ish. Should put us there right on time! Hopefully the stars will be correctly aligned. :)
