I heard they aren't taking anything away. I just heard that they are adding stuff. I do think that they changed the plot, but I'm not positive. I could be wrong.



But, I am pretty open minded about this. I'll just see if I like it or not when I go on it


As for the movie... it looks wicked awesome!

They are adding Jack Sparrow and all the characters from the ride!

I also heard that Johnny Depp is going to be at WDW July 1st for the opening of the new PotC!!!!

I won't be there the day it reopens and the movie opens, but I will be there the tenth before I go to a career camp program at Seaworld! (I begged my mom to let us go to disney before I went so we could ride the ride, lol!) I am so excited to see the changes they have made to the ride aswell!

I will be leaving for the disney cruise on the 15th, so I am crossing my fingers they will play the movie in the Walt Disney Theatre on Pirates Night!!!!! How cool would that'd be, it'd would be so perfect!

I will do whatever I have to to see it on opening day. I mean *whatever* I have to do. I wonder how long the lines will be? *remembers lines for Harry Potter 4 and shudders*

I'm scared of the lines, too. I remember all the previous Harry Potter's lines. I think the 3rd one had the worst. Anyway, I'll be at WDW on July 25-29th, so I won't be there when most of you are, but I'll be there to see Captain Jack on POTC ride. And yes, the DL POTC is better than WDW one. Just had to agree on that..

I'm more bummed than pumped. I still don't understand why they took a perfectly good classic like Pirates of The Caribbean and tried to "modernize" it and make it more like the movie. The movie is good, but the ride is much better.

Read the reviews of the new ride that already opened at Disneyland. People say it is great and the addition of the new characters does not change the story, only enhances it! I can't wait!! Yo ho!!

Okay I haven't gone on the ride But I was watching a thing online for th movie premier, and they said the ride is basicaly the same with the addition of CPt. Jack Sparrow and Barbossa. The plot is only slightly twisted with Barbossa looking/hunting for Jack.
