Does anyone have any information about this, when they will open? Where they will be located? I'm thinking about staying at CBR and BF is a huge Pirates fane and I was thinking that would be his choice to stay.

Thanks.

I haven't heard about this, but sounds very intresting and would like to stay in a pirates themed room.

It is still a rumor at this point. I hope they don't convert all the rooms. I like the current theming at CBR.

Thanks, I didn't realize it was still a rumor at this point. That would be cool, if they did end up changing a some rooms. I heard it was just going to be 1 of the preferred building.

Shhhhh....don't talk about this! If this happens, I'll never get to stay anywhere else but CBR, ever! My DS loves, loves, loves, POTC!! LOL!!! :rotfl:

Actually, I think it would be cool for resorts to have specially themed rooms!

We love CBR. I think the pirate theme is cool and we love PoTC but CBR is beautiful as is. There has always been a little pirate theme at CBR, alittle more won't hurt but don't change the resort too much.

I wouldn't want all the rooms to change but if they wanted an area that would be fine.

We just returned from a lovely 10 day stay at the CBR. I agree with safetymom, I wouldn't want the entire resort to be converted to a Pirates of the Caribbean theme but just a few areas would be nice (and something different for return visitors).

There is a large area of the store specifically set aside with Pirates of the Caribbean themed items. Lots of shirts, games, beach towels, fill-a-skull, flip flops, Crocs, flags, books, etc.

I would guess best named area's of CBR to be designed in a Pirate theme would be... Barbados & Trinidad South - where the pirate ships are in the movie.

It may also help the resort convice families to stay in Barbados & Trinidad South.

Or not just pay more for preferred rooms in Martinique and Trinidad South - but also pay more for rooms in Barbados, Martinique, and all of Trinidad.

Having only Jamaica and Aruba, the farthest rooms away from amenities, be the least expensive.

Also adding elevators to upper floors would be a PLUS :goodvibes

I haven't heard about this yet, but I'll pay top dollar for a room that comes complete with Captain Jack! ;)

I haven't heard about this yet, either, but think it's a great idea. It would definately be cool to stay in a POTC room in Barbados.
