OMG! There filming parts of the movie in my small town!! They've paid one of our ship building companys to build them a boat and some other props and there filming some of the movie here!! Everyone is soo excited!! I live in Bayou La Batre,Alabama..Where the Forrest Gump moving was based on. ~*~Brandee~*~

Are they filming some of it here too? I had just heard about them building the boat here. I live in Mobile but was raised in Grand Bay. Alot of family in the Bayou. Ladnier clan. If you know any of them I apologize. Just kidding.

For all you non-Alabamians Bayou la Batre and Grand Bay are little outlying towns in Mobile county. Just 15-20 minutes away.
