I will be going through the list of signups early this week and sending out acceptance emails. Unfortunately, I can't really divulge my criteria, but I will say that I am looking for an extremely diverse test group.

I am quite sure that since I checked other for the phone choice carrier that will exclude me but good luck to everyone else that signed up to be a tester!

This might sound crazy, but I put Pirates Of The Caribbean Online as my home page I just can't wait for it to open and hope to be a beta tester.

Well, I actually posted this today because:

I now work for Floodgate Entertainment (as of this week) and I'm finally getting the beta started Everyone who signed up with a real email address can expect another email shortly.

I want *real* Disney fanatics in my Beta test and where better to go than the Dis, right?

You can tell by my post count that I, myself, am a Disney fan and not a plant on here, and I plan to be active in answering questions abuot the game both on here and the official forums once the game is launched.

The Beta test is free to play, but the game itself will be offered through individual phone carriers for whatever fee they decide to charge (I have no control over that.)

I think you will find a few Disney fans here... I mean, it isn't as if this is a Disney board! Sheesh! lol.

I think just about everyone on this board is a real Disney fanatic! lol. I mean, where else will you find people who know how many spots there are in the All Star Movies (101 Dalmations section)? lol

the ppl who become beta testers, what will they be testing anyway? lol. it is an online game and they are ships. not like they can test hats and clothing lol.

i am the same way...not lucky, awful bingo player, tricky trays - luck if i get a 1 number the same...

once in a while i get lucky i won a sorcerer mickey once at a concert that my sister sang at, and the green flips and the pirate costume last night...

other than that you may want to stand far away from me....

I got picked to be a beta tester. I got the e-mail tonight at about 6:30. All you get to do is test out the mobile game, but you do it on your computer. It is pretty cool, but hard to manuver as you only use your arrow keys and the enter button to shoot bombs. The screen is tiny just like on a cell phone. You also get to post on a forum just for tester. Right now there are only 3 or 4 posts.
