Pirates League Help please <for girls>

1 - What is the deal with the mermaid package and why they only do lines around just the eyes in blue? I'm trying to wrap my head around the look they're going for and I'm just not seeing it no matter how times I look.

2 - What other options are there for girls?

3 - Do they sell outfits too? And does anyone have pictures of the available outfits?

Both boys and girls are free to choose and buy anything they like. They seem to have something called an "Empress" package.

I think the mermaid makeup is meant to be an artistic representation of scales. Or maybe water?

the package comes with a sash, but they do sell clothing. Can't help with pictures.

Scales.

They actually had a little template that they held up to the eye/cheek area to help the scale look happen.

Here I am, at the end of a long sweaty day, and you can see what was left of my scales. Forgive the forehead-shine.

My daughter went for the pirate look...scar on her face and everything. The CM customized it for my daughter. If you want a little something different, just ask!
We loved the Pirates' League! I hope you have fun!

My daughter did mermaid makeover and was pleased with it. The scales on her face were very cool. Mostly blues and greens for water tones I think. She wore a blue and green maxi sundress that made her look pretty good. They also put a twist in her hair with a flower clip. Then she went and met Ariel. She really enjoyed the whole experience and I would say it was worth the money

My daughter did the mermaid last time. I will try and add photos later - the upload was not working for me. We brought our own teal blue dress that we ordered from Amazon, and thought they did a great job with the make-up and hair with the clip you get. You also get a cute necklace and sash. They also take a photo in the "secret room"- we got it printed and on MM(not sure if that is still happening). We then had a FP to Ariel's Grotto for a mermaid photo. She loved it, and wants to go back and do a pirate makeover next time - we will look for the after Halloween clearance for an outfit! Our only complaint was a long wait even though we arrived early, and we needed to get the FP done and catch the boat to WCC for dinner.

We did the mermaid package in August. My daughter LOVED it and she got a new outfit. It was an Ariel shirt and skirt that shes actually able to wear other then just for dress up. The story they tell them while doing their make up and hair is great. They get to keep all the make up that's used on them as well as the nail polish a sash and a special necklace. When it's all done you get to go into the secret room and have your pictures taken by Photopass photographers. Next time we go she wants to do the pirate package. I would totally suggest it to anyone who's son or daughter enjoy pirates and mermaids.

The experience and the people working there are half the reason for doing it. They are amazing. My daughter did the Empress and had a ball with it all day. Almost a year later we stopped by and the same person was still working there ... and remember her by her Pirate name. On boy you can't put a price on that kind of Magic Moment!
