Pirates League for Girl Pirates

Does anyone have pics or tips they may want to share? I have one DD8 who would probably LOVE the transformation & banter there, and one DD5 who would LOVE turning into a princess at BBB. I just would like to see more pics or hear tips about either. I initially wanted both to do BBB but realized that was more for me than oldest DD!

I can't ask them - they won't know about the trip until Christmas & we go 1/30.

My DD 7 chose PL over BBB, but it was a tough choice for her...

I would probably make reservation for both girls at both places and give them the choice. You will still have a few days to cancel after Christmas.

Alternately, this year we are doing a whole pirate day -- Pirate Treasure Cruise in the morning, Pirates League later on, and the Pirate and Pals Fireworks cruise to top it all off!

Also, just an FYI, the last time we went my kiddos were 4 (DD) and 6 (DS). They both say the Pirate Treasure Cruise was their favorite part of the entire trip and have requested to do it again this trip (7 & 9).

My kids (DS 9, DD 7, DD 4) did both PL and BBB last year. They ALL preferred PL to BBB (even though both girls wore princess dresses almost all day every day!). They also do a mermaid makeover at PL, so that could be a MUCH cheaper option for your other daughter as well. One of my daughters did a pirate look and wore an Izzy costume and the other did a mermaid look and work an Ariel costume. We also did the Pirates and Pals cruise later that evening. At PL, even the adults can do a makeover, so your whole family could do it before the cruise.

I don't know if I really have any tips, but I would book both now and then go back and cancel the ones you don't want when you are able to get the girls' opinions.

My kids absolutely loved that this year. We did the one out of YC and they all had fun, even my 10 year old. Did you book a different one for this year, as I have heard they are all different?

I couldn't remember for sure which we did last time, but I just looked it up and we have the same one booked -- because it is closest (so DD16 and I can sleep in while DH takes the early risers on their cruise.)

Hmmm. I'm going to have to think about that now.

A whole pirate day would be awesome! What a great idea!

I just pretended we were playing 'would you rather be a pirate or princess for a day...?' And they answered exactly as I imagined one pirate & one princess.

My DD (7) has done BBB 2x and this year requested the Mermaid makeover instead. Pirate Day sounds awesome! Something to think about for when my little guy is old enough.

Where did you get the pirate costume? Did you buy that ahead of time or purchase it with the package? Would you mind telling me how much? I've been hunting for disney outfits, and have been having great luck finding great dresses for less than $20 but that pirate costume is wonderful!

I think that is the Zarina pirate fairy costume as we have the same one. It was offered at the Disney store about two years ago when the Pirate Fairy movie came out. Sold out very early and they didn't restock. They are really $$ on eBay but it is a super cute costume!
