We're sailing on the Dream this summer and I see this is now offered. My girls are definitely more into dressing like Pirates than Princesses! Anyone have experience with it? Any ideal time to book it? We are concierge so will likely have first dibs at reservations.

My daughter loved it and she's a princess for sure! They have a few different outfits to choose from...

We did ours early afternoon about 2:30 and the kids wore 'most' of the gear for the remainder of the day and dinner. After dinner it was back to normal. We had the early dinner. Go have them battle the concierge for pirate booty...chocolate doubloons. So fun:)

My DD (now 12) has done the Pirate's League 3 times. She has never been into princesses, so we were both happy that this was offered! We have never bought one of the costumes, although they look very nice. We have always bought a costume online and then gone just for the makeover. I usually try to get a time slot around 4:45 so DD will have time to shower and change after being out and about or at the pool, and she's always done in plenty of time for dinner. I know some people like to go earlier so they have time for character photos in costume, but we usually just take a few photos of DD by herself and call it a day! Many probably know this already, but I learned on our most recent cruise that people of any age can get pirate makeovers. I had thought that the max age was 12 like with the princess makeovers.

My granddaughter and grandson loved it, I think my daughter booked it for around 4:30-5:00 so they were ready to go for all the hoopla and didn't miss anything.
