My wife and I were there last weekend and overall, had a good night.
Personally, I think once you've been there - you will not wish to do it again, but for those who haven't done it - I recommend it!
Okay, first things first - you are asked to get there a good hour and a half early. The simple reason for this is because they can make a fortune from selling merchandise from the shop basically and other side events.
The pre-show entertainment was good and even more so when my wife volunteered me as one of eight lads who then had to do the 'Can Can', before doing other tasks during the evening.
The overall show is lively and its staged on a large pirate ship (obviously) and guests are divided into four sections, where they cheer on their own pirate and boo the others. If you enjoy loud bangs from muskets, sword fights and taking part in tasks helping your team to winning ways - then this is the show for you. The kids and adults will love it!
The meal is average, but surely that doesn't matter?
It's definitely worth the money spent! - However, our only disappointment on the night was when the waiter produced a plate saying that it was recommended each adult guest pays $5 and each child $3 for a tip. I know tipping is customary in the U.S, but I felt that was cheeky as surely it's up to the guests who wish to contribute to donate tips of their choice.
