Pirates Dinner Show - Orlando. Thoughts?

I was looking for a review, impressions, feedback upon the Pirates Dinner Show in Orlando.

I booked an evening there on the upcoming visit next month and would like to read of some impressions.

Hi,
We went to pirates last year and we thought it was quite good. We didn't think the seating was very good - a bit squashed in the leg room dept(I'm 6ft tall) and the food was not really that great but we enjoyed the show and DD10 even got chosen to go and join in towards the end. We would go again but if we did we would do the V.I.P seating at the front. Hope this helps.

We booked VIP seating for our upcoming trip. I'm really lookng forward to it, it's something other than Medeval Times and Arribean nights (sorry for spelling).

Do they have loud shooting in the show? I have always wanted to go, but I have hyperacusis and sounds at a certain pit (like a gun or backfiring) hurt my ears so I've always been afraid to try it.

We went a few years ago. My DS and I had fun cheering for our pirate. The food wasn't that great. We aren't planning to do it this time but I am glad we did it once. I honestly can not remember if there were any loud bangs. Sorry.

We went a few years ago and it was pretty fun. The food was nothing to write home about (I think like 1/2 a roasted chicken, potatoes, salad, bread) but it wasn't bad. We had the VIP section and my kids got to participate in the show. I think there were a couple loud bangs during the show. Our waiter kept the wine flowing (house wine and draft beer included) so my memory is just a bit fuzzy.
