The DW wants to do the above. Virgin Holidays price is £29 Adult and £24 Child. Anyone done it? Was it good? Seems a little expensive to me. Any DISs have any views. Thanks in advance. :thumbsup2

I went to this a few years back with my then boyfriend and parents. We actually really enjoyed it but I know others haven't been quite so impressed. The decor is really good and when you arrive you have a buffet and can walk around a mock pirate town. The buffet was very tasty and is all included in the price.

The main event is good and I found the pirate ship quite impressive. I was actually asked to be involved in the show so obviously this added to the experience but I would have enjoyed it even if this hadn't been the case.

The food was fine, obviously not the best meal I've ever had as it's being mass produced on a large scale but was quite tasty and filling.

All in all I would recommend it, as long as your expectations aren't too high and you are going there for some light-hearted entertainment and nothing more!

The biggest rip off in Orlando in my opinion. Awful food, poor service and at the end they expect a $5 per person tip. I'd avoid it at all cost. They also charge for parking and try and sell you upgraded seats which aren't worth the extra dollars.

DO NOT DO IT!!! We got this free and still wish we had not wasted a night on it! The buffet in my opinion was awful, the drinks were hugely expensive, the show poor and the food dreadful. The so called free drinks were not free flowing at all and of poor quality and the way they ask for their tips and stress how much they should be annoyed us. Avoid at all costs!

dont do it
you would have to pay me the cost of my entire holiday to do this!!!

It was OK, we enjoyed it, made a change to evening Disney activity. Don't expect Disney standard though. Food did come out like a conveyer belt but it was pretty decent. We used a coupon, probably only saved about $5-10 but that's almost a days parking at Disney.
