I might be crazy, but I swear that when the last Pirates movie opened, that DL had something for it, like a red carpet and some of the actors from the movie were there.

Does anyone remember it? And if I'm correct, does anyone know if they will be doing something for the new movie coming out?

I saw a reference to a special event for PotC: Stranger Tides at DL in 2011.

They've sometimes had special events that tied to a movie premiere (I remember one for Tomorrowland). I would keep an eye on the Parks Blog to see if something gets announced.

Yes, all the POTC movies have done their premieres in DL over the Rivers of America. Lone Ranger did their premier at the Hyperion. Usually they have most of the cast and various others who were close to the production. We were able to do the Lone Ranger premiere and it was a lot of fun. We got a lot of great pics with various people attending. After the movie, they had WOC for all the attendees.
