Pirates Closing??

Has anyone heard about Pirates closing for a short while over the next couple of months?

A week or two ago disneyland.com had the closing of Pirates listed as Oct 13-Nov 15, but the site has since removed Pirates from the refurb schedule so who knows if the closing is still in the plans. Speculation has been that perhaps they decided to delay the closing in order to avoid having so many attractions closed at one time (small world, jungle cruise, fantasmic, and sailing ship columbia are all scheduled at that time). Rumor is that there is some roof repair needed on the Pirates building due to a hail storm, but perhaps someone else can chime in with a more accurate explanation for the necessary refurb.

It was supposed to go down for refurbishment, but it has been removed from the schedule. Make sure you check the individual days you're planning on going to the park. I just checked for the time we're going to be there, and it's going to vary the entire trip. For example, the riverboat will be down for two or three days out of the six we're there. Fantasmic will open the last night of our trip. I'm kind of glad, because we won't have to scurry around to catch these rides before they go down for refurbishment.
