Pirates and Pals Fireworks voyage?

Has anyone done the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage, and if so, what did you think? How did you book it? what was the cost? would you do it again? Is there an age requirement? Like do they have to be at least 16? Many years ago, DH and I did the full day behind the scenes tour, which I know you had to be 16 to do it... Are there any other tours / special activities that might be fun for the whole family? We tried the fishing excursion once, when we didn't have kids.... It was awesome.. but looking for something different. ANY Suggestions.

I have never done it but, here is some info from allears.net: The total price for Guests 10 and older will be $53.99 and for Guests 3 – 9, the total price will be $30.99. Reservations for the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage, can be made by contacting 407-WDW-PLAY (939-7529).
