This sounds like so much fun. Please tell me more about it so I can talk my husband into being willing to spend all that money on it.

We've done it once and have booked it again for our upcoming trip in November. The main reason we booked is because I am a big fan of Capt Hook and Mr Smee, and this is basically the only way to meet them now outside of random character training. The party starts about 90 minutes before Wishes and they have a variety of snacks and drinks for all participants, then of course a meet and greet with Capt Hook and Mr Smee (photopass photographer was there). The pirate hosts for the boats were quite funny as well, and we really enjoyed being able to see the electrical water pageant and have a great view of Wishes. It can also be a very good way to see Hallowishes or Holiday Wishes if you're not paying to attend one of the parties.

Agree !!! We started going around 2 years ago, and now we never miss it !! It's our kids (4 and 9) fave thing that we do in all of WDW !!! Going again dec 4th ---- it's an Xmas party night !!

Oh, one more thing --- if you do decide to book, ask for the ODD seating side --- that's the better view of the castle and "Wishes".

Thanks for the info - and the insider tip about the ODD seating. I talked to a CM about it and she called it a pirate ship - it's not a real pirate ship is it? She also said Captain Hook and Mr Smee are with you the whole time. That's not right is it? Are the desserts real good or just kid friendly things like Mickey ice cream bars and popcorn?

We thought it was fun. I don't think the desserts were anything special. I don't even think they had ice cream but maybe I just didn't see it. I loved the view of wishes. It was so relaxing and it was wonderful not to fight crowds afterwards. It's a good thing to do on a non park day or it you don't have hoppers on a non MK day

No, it's not a real pirate ship. And, no, Hook and Smee aren't with you on the boat. There are two pirate captains, both named Patch. They're really funny. For dessert, there's usually a cake, ice cream treats (usually in a cooler in the back), bagged cotton candy, pretzels, lemonade. That's all I can remember.

What is ODD seating?
The seating on the boat is split into two sides, with the odd numbered seats being closest to MK.

Don't forget the chocolate coins --- :))
And for the coffee loving adults, they have flavored syrups --- nice touch ---
I love the banter on the boat--- always a great time !!

Additional snacks I remember are more bagged salty snacks, chips, popcorn, etc, and maybe packaged cookies of some type, then more hot beverages- coffee, cocoa.

Capt Hook & Smee have a meet and greet in the initial room where the snacks are, then walk down to the docks and see off the boats, but do not join you on the boats and are not there on your return.

FWIW, we were on the far side of the boat last time, so I guess even, and our view was not obstructed.
