Pirates and Pals Cruise

This is probably a stupid question but I know Pirates and Pals cruise is geared towards family but can two adults with out children do it and is it weird for two adults without children to do it?

My husband and I are going on a trip in January and I'm thinking of some new things to add to the trip so that we can have new experiences. I am already planning on booking Keys to the Kingdom tour if available.

We are doing a Wishes Dessert party, at the request of my husband, so I'm not sure if Pirates and Pal Cruise would just be overkill or a fun experience.

Pirates and Pals is great! Excellent! And yes, adults only are fine. When we did it there were a number of couples, no kids. Enjoy.

It is geared toward the kids but I think it was really fun and I can see enjoying it adults only. I thought the view of Wishes was better than the dessert party. Doing both the same trip does seem like a bit of overkill though... Maybe do one this trip and the other another trip? The desserts at Pirates and Pals are definitely more for the kid's palate, like cotton candy and ice cream bars. It wasn't as nice of a spread as the dessert party. Maybe you can split the difference if the Ferrytale cruise is extended

Do they have fresh fruit or chocolate covered strawberries? Those are the two things my husband wants the dessert party for…I'm thinking Pirates and Pals has desserts I would love (I have the palate of a child) but not so much what my husband wants.

Thanks I didn't think to look at Kennythepirate.com. That actually made it really easy for me to decide. I think the dessert party will be better for us. I thought the desserts were on the boat not in a room before the cruise. I think Pirates and Pals will be something to look at if we ever bring our nieces and nephews to WDW.
