Is this done right in front of the POC ride or somewhere else in Adventureland?
This will be the high light for my ds trip, and mine too

Yup. Very close to the ride. If you're coming from Main Street, the area is that small open area just before you get to the ride.

ETA: Oh yeah, get there a bit early so you get close to the front so you're son will get picked.
