Hi there! I was watching a Disney commercial last night and my son saw people eating with pirates. Now he wants a pirate meal. Is there one at Disneyworld? I can't find one listed but I thought I'd check. We are going Jan 18-25th.

Thanks!
Steph

I sure hope they do this too. There are really no character meals that are for young boys but there are several princess meals.

There is a pirate-themed night on the Disney Cruise (at least the 7-day Caribbean cruise) where you get pirate bandanas and the servers are dressed in pirate costumes and the menus are on treasure maps, but that's the only "pirate" Disney meal I can think of. It goes along with the "Pirates in the Caribbean" party. Guests are encouraged to dress in their pirate gear, and around the ship the characters are dressed in pirate garb, and Jack Sparrow was there as well. It's fun, but it's only on the cruise as far as I know.

This would be great if they did add a Pirate meal. My boys would love something like this. In fact, they would love to eat with Buzz, Woody, Incredibles, Peter Pan, Captain Hook...pretty much any boy character.

I would love to see a meal that is more boy oriented like the princess meals are more girl oriented.

It would be nice instead of more princesses, but I think the commercial is showing the new Pirate themed birthday parties they are going to be offering and not a character meal

Oh ... that would be too bad...:sad2:

I have a daughter, and we would all LOVE a pirate-themed meal! (esp. DH)

The closest we get to one is the Blue Bayou in Disneyland, but there aren't any pirates at the meal...

I'm still hoping they'll do this -- it would be a money-maker for Disney!:)

OMG that would be really cool!!! I hope they do it!

That would be great for our little group too as my guests are huge Pirates fans. Hopefully they have something in the works that they'll roll out very soon! I wonder where it would go, though . . . maybe El Pirata or (gasp!) Cap'n Jacks?
