Pirate Rooms in CBR typically available for discounts?

Does anyone know if the Pirate rooms at CBR are usually a part of the fall room or dining promos? Currently have a standard room booked but would like to upgrade to a pirate room if those are usually a part of the promos as well. Thanks!

Yes. They have a hard time filling those rooms so they are always included. In fact sometimes, unless you call within the first couple hours after the discount is released, the Pirate Themed Rooms are the ONLY options at CBR.

lol good to know! Maybe we will keep our standard for now and then upgrade once things are released.

Pirate rooms really ought to count as a downgrade.

I have a free dining bounce back booked for Sept at pop and I keep calling to try and upgrade to CBR but the only rooms available with the discount are the pirate rooms. I'm sure you'll be able to get one.

We had a pirate room last year for free dining. The room itself was lovely. It was far away from the food court, but that was the only drawback that we saw.

I agree. They are the furthest from everything, and only have double beds with paper thin mattresses. They tried to "upgrade " us for free last year I said no thank you, I'd like the queen beds that I booked please.

By November of last year, the beds in the pirate rooms had been upgraded to queens

No, they have not. Pirate rooms are still doubles due to the bedframe.

Nope. We were there 11/28.

On the other hand, the beds weren't that comfortable in the standard queen beds. My DH said he's buying a memory foam topper next time we stay there. He said he couldn't sleep on it. (The downside to investing in a temperpedic at home).
