Pirate & Pixie's Traveling Circus Part 4

We arrive at MK and after parking hop a tram and getting to the TTC, got our Annual Passes (yes you unfortunately will have to listen to more of my rambles of future trips). “Smiling Jack” Justin can’t seem to understand for the life of him WHY he got the AP that had Minnie Mouse on it, he is NOT a girl! He wants to trade with his little sister and we are telling him, “IT DOESN’T MATTER!!” He smiles and winks, “oh I know Mom, just playing!” The little toot!

The CM was so nice and just talked and talked and talked to us. All the while, Princess Erin is jumping up and down, pulling on my fanny pack to hurry, she, “SEES THE CASTLE!!!” All the time, I am looking at my watch, KNOWING we are going to be late for our breakfast. But, this is Disney (chanting…Disney spirit…Disney spirit….don’t be in a hurry to enjoy the little things..SMILES EVERYONE!!!), so I smile, tell her to have a Disney day and we are off!!

Off to a long…long line of people getting on the Ferry…(insert a deep sigh here…..chanting the mantra…Disney spirit..Disney spirit…don’t be in a hurry to enjoy the little things..,SMILES EVERYONE!!!) so I smile and push the stroller to the Ferry to wait to be herded like cattle going in for the kill!

Of course all 11 people spread like melted butter on a hot skillet when they hit the deck of the Ferry, except Commander Brad and me. I point out high points and we talk about people and each ones methods of lining up like herded cattle. He and I make our way to the front of the boat and I say forget about the rest. Every man for himself. Sure enough when time came to leave the Ferry, none could be found so I figured we would just collect all bodies when I found a clearing after I got off. I assumed that the bodies would still be breathing! At least I was hoping!

The clock is ticking and I am beginning to stress now!! Where is EVERYONE????? (Insert Disney Mantra Chant to myself here)

After finding all responsible parties and even those irresponsible ones, I plop all bags, backpacks, water bottles, wallets, stroller EVERYTHING in the arms of Pirate, grab Val, throw HER things in the arms of Commander Brad and smile wickedly saying..”you two go through security with all 7 critters while we are going in to get the shirts for the 4 kids that wanted to get autographs. Pirate looks at me and says, “we were at DD yesterday and you didn’t do this???!!!??” I grinned impishly, slapped a kiss on his cheek and whispered softly.. “ I forgot”, he smiled, shook his head and said, “then what are ya waiting for!!

We bolted and then stood in line with all the people, but thankfully were let through, YEAHH…we are almost there. Val & I get into MK, find our shirts, check out and I hear the Pirate’s whistle letting me know he was there. This is like our family whistle, the kids, me, the Pirate, all of them know it, they are trained it, they are taught it, they do it.. Makes it easy to find each other! I look for all my crew and find them all and of course Cell Phone Charlie on the phone again talking to his GF!!

I let Pirate know he did great in getting through the security line quickly and he leans over to me with a smile. “Would have been here sooner, but Brad hasn’t learned NOT to answer the questionnaire people yet!! He didn’t even get a free Mickey Bar coupon. You would think he would!” He smiles and laughs.

I stop and stare up the street! OH MY GOSH! LOOK AT ALL THE PEOPLE!! This is NOT the Thanksgiving Week crowd that I am used to. Ok, must be the fact that we are at the MK on Sunday. Mark it up to it’s the only day we could get Cindy’s Table. We bolt to the castle!! I look at the clock…tick tock..tick tock!! Our reservation is in 4 mins. We didn’t even make the “get there 20 minutes before your reservation” I was just hoping for some pixie dust here!

The kids stop to trade some pins and I am looking at them, thinking COME ON PEOPLE!! We make it past all the families stopping to look at maps, past the picture takers, past the people that just STOP in the middle to stare and get to the castle to have it blocked off for a show. (sighs AGAIN and begins to chant…Disney spirit…Disney spirit….don’t be in a hurry to enjoy the little things..SMILES EVERYONE).

We walk back behind the castle to get there and finally make it. I won’t go into how crazy it is to get 11 people all moving the same direction. Just imagine a pack of 10-week-old puppies all seeing the huge bowl of puppy chow in front of them, but sniffing tidbits and yummies all long the way. If nothing else it was fun!! Not to mention probably extremely funny to anyone that had nothing better to do than watch us bull dozing down the street!

We got to the castle, checked in and were sitting at our 2 tables 15 minutes later! The magic shall commence. Actually it did! The moment we walked into the castle and saw Fairy Godmother. All the kids were so excited to see the princesses, even Cell Phone Charlie and Peyton. Although, they claim it was the yummy food that had their attention.

Concluding the meal we figured out a huge mess with the bill (they charged us for 1 adult and 2 kids extra, I didn’t think we had 14..did we pick up some along the way that I didn’t notice??). All the boys wanted to go look at the swords in the Castle store, so we stopped by there and OF COURSE it takes forever, because the kids do more Pin Trading!

Then the fall takes place........
