Pirate Party and Palo reservations

What time should I make our Palo reservations. We will be going on the 3rd and my son will have to be at the kids club and we will have just spent the day at castaway cay. We have late dining so I think our show time is 7pm. Does anyone know how the pirate show plays out. I appreciate all input and opinions! we are sailing in May and i am trying to have my plans ready when I make reservations!

It was on the Wonder, but even having "late dining" we dined early at Palo.
Not only do you get to catch the sunset, we were out in plenty of time for the pirate show.

Only downside, the buffet looked fantastic, but we were too stuffed to have a bite.
