Our cruise is in 1 month! :cool1: Anyway, what is everyone wearing for Pirate Night? Where are you finding Pirate Accessories? We want to join in the fun! pirate:

Thanks!

My kids are wearing some old halloween costumes. We picked them up post-Halloween in anticipation of the cruise. I'm wearing a puffy white shirt and black "peasant" kinda skirt. DH is wearing a stripped shirt. Maybe some eye patches...lots of jewelry for me...earrings for the boys...

To be honest,...you can either dress or not dress. You won't feel out of place either way.

I know this is a long shot - we live close to Harriburg PA and in our dollar stores are TONS and TONS of pirate swords/axes/etc. in the toy area. They are really neat...plastic....but not too cheap looking...and the price!! They have the curved kind, the straight kind..and they are about 3 feet long. I figured I'd pick up a few for the kids and hope they make it in our suitcase.

:flower: Good morning everyone! Just wondering if there is a Pirate night on the 3 night cruises? We sail August 11 and I was curious to see if I should pack us some costumes or not. If anybody knows, please post so I will know to get my swords ready pirate:

there is a pirate night on the 3 day.... not sure which night though.... HTH

If you don't see any at your local Dollar Store, go to Walmart or Target and get each child one of those eyepatch/plastic hook/sword sets....I think you could buy them in the ship's gift shop but it'll save you $$$ if you buy them at home.

Pirate Night is FUN! FUN! FUN! You're gonna love it!!! pirate:

If you cruised and wore pirate attire, post a picture of you or your family if you can. It would be neet to see every one's creations for costumes.

Here's a photo of us and three of the many other families we cruised with. Me and my family are the ones dressed up, our servers, Laszlo & Noemi dressed up, and my friend purchased super cool Pirate hats for her and her family, and the photo looks very festive with Everyone wearing the cool Bandana!

I was at Payless Shoes the other day and in the womens section I saw some teal colored tennis shoes with a piratey skull & crossbones design all over them! That's not exactly the type of shoes pirates wore, but they sure would be cute for pirate night!
