Hi - thanks for answering all my newbie questions.

We are on a SWDAS cruise this spring and trying to figure out when/if to do adult dining. One option would be to go to Palo on Pirate Night.

If we do this, does this mean our (little) kids wouldn't get to dress up in their pirate costumes? Will there be pirate things in the club/nursery? Are dinner and the show the only time/place people are in costume? What time is the "early" pirate deck show? I'm 99% sure we'd have to take them straight to bed from the club/nursery.

Our pirate deck party on the Wonder 12/4 was at 745.

On the two cruises we've been on people dress up for pirate night during dinner times and after.

SWDAS=Star Wars day at sea

I have heard runours there are going to be 2 deck parties for the SWDAS cruises. No fireworks that night so makes it easier to have 2 I guess? We will get fireworks the Star Wars night. I am on the very first one sailing this Saturday, I'm sure there will be a thread discussing all that happens either during for the dedicated dis'ers who buy internet packages, or after for sure!

On our wonder cruise last month, they were trying out one pirate show/fireworks time that happened in between the dinner settings. Fireworks at 802 pm (they said this 100 times). Not sure if still doing this or how it fits in with SWDAS.

People start dressing up that afternoon. When shops open, eating venues inside, staff is dressed up and in the spirit. Character meet and greets tend towards the pirate theme.

HTH!

Will kids in the clubs be in costume / pirate activities in the clubs?

My kids want to dress up like pirates. If we are at Palo at 6pm, they will be in the clubs from 6-8pm (ish) and then straight to bed...so if this means they don't wear the costumes, we should try to change our reservation, right?

We just don't want to miss SWDAS activities or the animator's show, or put the kids in the clubs at night on one of the first two days (we are possibly being precious here).

thanks everyone!
