We are sailing on the Magic in a few weeks and was looking at the April 2016 navigator and didn't see buccaneer blast later in the evening or at all on pirate night as its been on all of our past cruises.

The show is 7:45pm do they do the fireworks immediately after that now?

Thank you!

Typically, yes. Some cruises have the Pirate show earlier (7:45) some have it later (after late dinner seating), depending on whether it's going to be dark enough that time of year to do the fireworks at the earlier time.

Ok! Thank you! We have a young daughter that her last cruises she's been alseep for the late show or fireworks or didn't make it to the fireworks.

So I can then expect the fireworks to be right after the 7:45pm show?

I'm excited for the opportunity for her to see the entire show and fireworks not just a little bit.

We got off the Magic Sunday and the fireworks were after ten.

Yikes really? Did it show the fireworks times on the navigator?

Usually it's called buccaneer blast on our past cruises. However the navigator I was looking at just shows the 7:45pm show and no mention of fireworks...

We were on the Wonder the week of 4/3. The pirate party and fireworks were around 7:30-8. On every other cruise it was around 10. We asked the crew when it changed and they said a couple months ago for the wonder

On the Fantasy last week and there were two pirate shows. One with Mickey and the gang around 7:45 and another with Capt Jack at 10:30. The fireworks went off around 10:45 after the second show.

Yes, on the Dream class ships there is a "family-oriented" show between the dinner seatings. And more "jack sparrow" type show followed by fireworks after the late seating. That's how they've always done it.

On the Magic class ships, the Pirate show was Micky & gang show that gets taken over by "bad guy" pirates. But Mickey eventually saves the day and the fireworks start. This has always been after the second dinner seating. But, recently (well about 9 months to a year) they've started doing the show between the two dinner seatings with fireworks following on those cruises that it's dark enough by 8:00 (or so) to see the fireworks. Those cruises that it's not dark enough by then, the Pirate show, followed by the fireworks, is after the second seating.

We were on the Magic 04/03-04/10/2016. Our pirate night was the Tortola night. Show started at 7:45 and fireworks were at 8:10, done by 8:15. Loved the new timing...this was our 8th cruise and first time seeing them because our kids never stayed up late enough with the old timing!

We were on the Magic 2/25 and on Pirate night they did the show and fireworks between the two dining times. Perfect for the kiddos (and me since I love that stuff).
