Pirate League Question

I have 3 kiddos...DD12 & 9 and DS6. All 3 even my DD12 has expressed interest in the PL. I wasn't planning on having them do it until I saw that the price is now 50% off. My DH wants me to get the Captain's package for them as this would be a great surprise and souvineer. I was reading about both packages and the Captain's package only seems to be for boys. I don't think my DDs would like to get dressed up like Jack Sparrow. Is there a larger package for girls? I would hate to get them the Empress package wile their brother gets the Captains and neither girls is interested in BBB (besides it's not on sale and I am cheap).

I believe that the Captain's package is for girls too. You get to pick you make up (and the empress is an option- one that they kept teasing my 4YO DS that he wanted). Then you can get the costume for a girl- a girly pirate.

We did not do the big package because I had made them appliqued pirate donald and pirate mickey shirts. We absolutely LOVED doing this. It was well worth the money at full price.

Thanks I think I will call. When you have 3 kids everything is times 3. This adds up. So when the 50% off came about I jumped at it.

I just called WDW. I am not sure if the CM had all the info because she really struggled for answers. She told me that a boy or girl can do the Captain's package. The boys will get a pirate costume and the girls will get either a Captain Hook hat or Jack Sparrow hat. If I wanted any girl costume, of any kind, I would have to purchase it in addition to the 124.99. This struck me as odd. Both boys and girls will cost 124.99 (before discount) but boys get a costume and girls don't?

The CM gave you the wrong information. There is a thread on the Theme Park board about the Pirate League and several of the CMs who work there post information. I believe you can do the Empress package with a costume.
