Our grandchildren recently went on the Pirate Treasure Hunt Cruise. One just turned 5 & the other will be 5 in a couple of weeks. After calling many days in a row to check on reservations, I was finally successful getting them on Friday the 13th!! Turns out that another 'Grandma' from the Dis had to cancel her grandchildrens reservations that day & I just lucked out getting them. I hope that they had a good time on their vacation. The grandson didn't want his 'bandon' on his head so we ended up tying it to his life jacket - at least we can pick him out in the pictures with the kids all lined up to go on the pontoon!! They both said that it was fun. As for the 'treasures' - the grandaughter didn't want anything to do with the 'spider rings'!! Grandson was glad to take them from her!! While waiting for them to return we wondered around the Grand Floridian enjoying the Christmas decorations. If I didn't read the 'Dis' I wouldn't have known anything about this Cruise -- glad that I 'ran' into this web-site!!!

I totally agree with you. This site and the people on it are a wealth of information. I'm glad to hear your grandkids enjoyed the cruise. My youngest DD (8) is really looking forward to her first cruise, especially the treasure Thanks to Janet2K's pictures, she already knows about the spider rings and says "cool". She goes on Dec. 30th and we're hoping the weather will be good. Thanks for posting, sounds like everyone enjoyed themselves.

This is a "Resort" activity that is offered at the Grand Floridian and is a better discussion for that board rather than the Restaurant Board so it is being relocated to our Resorts Board. Thank you all!

My six year old daughter loved the pirate cruise, but she was one of the oldest on it. One little boy had his 9 year old sister, so she didn't feel too bad. She kept asking where the bigger kids were.
