Pirate Cruise Thanksgiving Day 2002

My 2 ds are on the PC on Thanksgiving, and when I booked that 2 wks ago both Mon. and Wed. were unavailable. Since there's a 24 hr. cancellation, if you don't get a spot before then, I'd try calling again Tues. afternoon or Wed. morning. Good Luck!

i had no idea she wanted to do this so badly. i guess we always want what we can not have.

Isn't that the truth. I'm calling every so often to try to get a day other than Thanksgiving. I'd really rather be touring AK that morning, but the cruise was part of a bribe to appease my 2 ds about not going to NASA this trip.

Maybe we should combine our efforts. I'll be calling WDW Dine a few more times, and will continue to ask if there are openings on the PC a dif. day. If so, I'll just book them and hold my 2 spots then post when I'm cancelling so you have a chance to get the space. If you run into 2 spots open other than Thanksgiving maybe you could hold those, and could do the same for me. Do you check the boards daily?

i just called to check and nothing today for monday, wednesday or thursday. i will keep trying!

I'll probably call Thursday, but I checked Tues. and struck out. I usually check the boards in the morning and the evening. We have family who finally decided to meet us at WDW (We issued the invitation 2 yrs. ago) today. Now I really hope we can get another day for the PC.

Your dd isn't interested in the Wonderland Tea Party is she?

No........she was but now that I can't get the Pirate Cruise it seems to be the only thing she wants to do. She is not really a "TOMBOY" she is just very adventurous. This Pirate thing is right up her alley. Tea with Alice she would do but only because I wanted her to kind of a thing.

I guess in a way you could say she is just like her mom "LOVES A CHALLENGE".

I don't know if anything I am saying makes sense but basically I just need a get her a seat on the darn Pirate Cruise.

Too bad because I'm pretty sure we're cancelling my dd's tea party res in favor of taking her to 1900 Park Fare while boys are on the pirate cruise. She'd like to go with them, but potty training is too tentative. The tea party would be much easier for her, but she likes the idea of us going with her for breakfast.

No Luck at all, I call everyday. I will continue to call everyday so if I get something I will let you know.

You need 2 spaces for any day correct, the week of November 25?

I have been checking the Monday and Wednesday before Thanksgining and Thankgiving Day.

I have been trying for 20 days, every day to get the pirate cruise for 2 for Thanksgiving week. I just called 15 min. ago and got it for T-giving Day. Obviously there were cancellations. I did a search for "pirate cruise" on these threads and just saw your message. Hope I didn't take the last 2 spots on you, but I would say just keep calling. I was giving up hope but now am glad I hung in there. Good Luck!!!!

Hi,

I have two on the cruise (8 y/o ds and 5 y/o dn). This is ds's second cruise, and the first for dn. I know that travelitis has two boys on this cruise also. That means that there will be:

(1) 4 y/o boy
(1) 5 y/o girl
(1) 8 y/o girl
(3) 8 y/o boys
(1) 9 y/o girl
(1) 11 y/o boy

Wow! 8 kids from the board, and it looks like a great age mix. See you all on T-Day!

I have 2 spots for Thanksgiving day but hoped to get it for a different day. I've called for so many other unrelated things but try to also ask about the PC. All I've gotten is no avail. all week. I'm just going to be glad to have any day that week and accept the full schedule. Princess syndee, I have a couple of more calls to make to WDW (at least), so I will ask for Thanksgiving slot on PC for you. If you don't get it before then, I'd check for last-minute cancellations. Isn't it 48 hrs. to avoid penalty? I hope you get a space on this.
