I am wondering if the Pirate cruise would be ok for my 5 yo who is very active(ADHD). He is a sweet boy and gets along well with adults and other kids. He is just VERY active. I worry he might be able to "jump ship". Any info and opinions are welcome.:)

I'm hoping that it will be fine for an active child. I'm a pediatrician with a 4yo who I'm pretty sure has ADHD(but don't want him officially diagnosed yet). I signed him up for the pirate cruise in December. I just plan on letting him run and play before and afterwards. Anyone with a similar child who has already experienced this?

SillyOldBear, if you are concerned, perhaps you should contact the GF staff ahead of time in regards to your situation. You should call the resort's Front Desk and ask them to transfer you to the appropriate person who is in charge of the Pirate Cruise. My experience with the GF's children's staff has always been a good one.

My daughter loves all three of the GF's children's activities: click here for my Pirate Cruise photos.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Your pictures helped me better understand what my 9 and 7 year olds will experience in September. It looks like a fun time for all! Thanks:earseek: :earseek:
