I am hoping to schedule the Pirate Cruise for the kids. I am wondering what happens if it rains. Do they cancel or postpone?

I can now answer my own question! When I booked the cruise this morning I asked what they do in case of bad weather. She said that an alternative adventure is provided, but she wasn't sure what that was. As long as the kids still get to have a fun encounter I will be happy.

This happened during our trip before Easter. There were thunderstorms in the early morning but, when I called over to the GF marina, they confirmed that the "cruise" would still be on. When I showed up, I was told to take DS to the childcare at the GF. They had the kids put on their mouseear bandanas and then went on a treasure hunt inside the lobby of the GF. I think my son had fun but, to be honest, if they had told me that they would be doing an indoor adventure, I probably would have preferred to use the time touring the MK. (We were actually there before the cruise and rushed over to the GF once they confirmed that the "cruise" would still be on. They must have made the decision early on to do the indoor adventure because the skies were clear when I checked my son into the program at the GF marina.)

Were you still charged the full price?

Yes, I was charged the regular price. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy but I'm sure that, if I protested, they would not have charged me to cancel in light of the fact that it was no longer a cruise.
