My daughter (5 years old) is interrested in going on the Pirate Cruise that starts at the Grand Floridian but she is afraid she will be "the only girl". Does anyone have any feedback regarding the cruise in general - especially from a girls point of view? Thanks!

My daughter did it a couple of years ago, when she was 3. She certainly wasn't the only girl. In fact, at least one of the CMs runnign it was a woman. All the kids seemd to have had a great time.

My youngest did this several years ago and she was not the only girl. She had a great time.

Tinaw, welcome to the Dis!

My daughter has done the Pirate Cruise for quite a few years now. There are always girls on the cruise, just as there are usually boys at the Wonderland Tea Party and the Grand Adventures In Cooking Class. I have a few photos of the Pirates Cruise: click here to view them.

I wish I was young enough to attend the children's programs at the GF. *Sigh*

My DD had a great time too. She's an only child and was a little timid, but immediately hooked up with another girl (it was about 50/50). When I developed the pics from her disposible camera, there were some cute ones of her and the other little girl holding hands. Your DD will enjoy it!!

My DD did this when she was almost 6. She was not the only girl and according to the CM she and her found new friend had more knowledge about the pirates than all the boys combined. The 2 girls also happened to do the mad hatter tea party together and they both said they enjoyed the pirates much more.
