Hi. I have now talked to 4 different people at Disney and have gotten 2 people who have told me that you can enter the park at 4 the day of the pirate and princess party. Then another told me not until 7 and yet another told me you could enter at 6. I just really don't want to pack up my little ones and have them all hyped at 4 and be turned away, but the gal who told me 7 was quite short and said, "I can't tell you anymore than that. You could try to get in at 4." I said, "Well that's real helpful with kids. They won't much want to be turned away to wait for another 3 hours."

I also want to know if you really can get in at 4, is it still true in the event you do not have tickets for the park for the day. We are only going to the pirate party.

Thanks so much. It is very frustrating calling all over the place and literally not having any one person sounding sure about their answer. I asked if I could talk to the department that coordinates it, but they just kept telling me the front desk of the resorts would know. I said, "The resort knows more than the place that is having it??"

Any help is much appreciated!! By the way, we are doing the Sept 3rd party.

Have a great day!!

From what I've read and seen, you can get in at 4pm.

We're going Sat, so I can tell you for sure next week.

That's awesome! Thanks. I talked to another gal tonight who happened to know the fellow who told me 4:00 and she confirmed it is 4, but I'll be interested to see what really happens. She said it is not widely publicized (not anymore!!). I did a search on here and found where others said about 4:00, but it wasn't anything recent and one lady who said the 7 entry time said they might have changed it since recently. Ugh.

Well, have a blast, take lots of pictures and fill us in on any tidbits we should know! It sounds like a really, really fun time!

Take care and travel safe! :thumbsup2

Syko...did you have fun? Did you go to a lot of the 'extra' events that were happening; for example, the Jack Sparrow Tutorial, parade, fireworks, sabastian dance party, etc... If so, did you still have time for rides? I'm taking my family and friends on the 28th of August and am dying for any information. I've spent tons of time searching for info. from other dissers:surfweb: that will help me plan my night, but I haven't had much luck:sad2: Any information would be greatly appreciated:cloud9:

We have reservations at LTT at 5:20, but are planning on entering the park at 4:00 pm and checking out the castle, getting our wristbands etc, so that when we are done eating, we can get on with the Party! P. S. we are going in january, and they haven't released teh "official" dates yet, but we are planning on doing this with an educated guess!

please forgive me for being stupid but what do you mean by getting in at 4? as long as you have a park ticket you can get in whatever time you want correct? and you hae to have a park tix to gain access to mk so i'm confused by whatt he big deal about getting in at 4 is. i've herard that its good to wait until 7 so it will alrady be decorated for the ppp.

Disnay Dave -

some poeple do not have park hoppers and will be spending the AM at a different park - others do not have "enough" days to use a park ticket on P&PP days. Still others may not have ANY WDW tickets at all!

The P&PP ticket will acct as your park ticket to get you access to the monorail and ferry. WIth the ticket, you can gain access to MK as early as 4 PM even though the party doesn't start until 7.

HTH!!

thank you but i still think i'm confused:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 are you saying you dont' need a park ticket for ppp and your ppp tix get you in? i thought you had to have both? i though you had to use your park tix just like you would if you had an adr in a park:confused3 like you can't get to adr with out admission to park and i thought you couldn't get to ppp without park admissiontix in addition to ppp tix.

I just read the paper that came with my Pirate & Princess Party tickets and it says the ticket is for admission to the P&P Party at the Magic Kingdom.

"Enclosed are your tickets to Disney's Pirate & Princess Party a the MAGIC KINGDOM® Park! So you can best enjoy this event, we've included the following information about your ticket and other important details!

TICKETS=> YOUR DISNEY'S PIRATE & PRINCESS PARTY TICKET ENTITLES YOU TO THE FOLLOWING:
- ONE admission to DISNEY'S PIRATE & PRINCESS PARTY at the Magic Kingdom® park on the night and time designated on your ticket."

that is the "language" on teh sheet my tickets came on. According to more than one CAST MEMEBER you can gain access to the MK after 4PM to accomodate any early ADR, just like you need a PARK ticket to get into your ADR at 8AM for an ADR, you need a PARTY ticket to get in the park early (But unlike early entry, you do NOT need an ADR!) DOes that make sense?

ANyway! ENJOY!

gottalluvmickey, The show at the castle is the same "Dream along with Mickey" as the one in the day, so if you have seen this don't bother on the night. but if you do the best time to see it is after the fireworks , as it runs: fireworks, show and parade.
The fireworks are great and so is the parade, both special for the night, alot of people watched the parade twice!!!!
To meet Capt. Jack was a 2 1/2 hour wait, and that was short, last time we went, it was 4 hours!!!!
We only went on two rides, but they had short wait times, we made it to all but four candy/beads stops, but did not stop to see any of the other characters, as we did most of them last time, if you do the show, paraed, fireworks and Capt. Jac kyou will not have much time for anything else.
We will have to go again, if they run it next year so that we can finish off getting all the autographs.
Your P&P ticket will get you into the MK from 4pm and a lot of people, young and old dress up, at certain points around the park you will be asked to show your rist band.
It's a great night, just as good as halloween, and the candy is better!!!!!
It is better than MVMCP as we feel that it needs to be different as its getting a little boaring as it has been the same the last 4 years thar we have seen it.

We are going to the party on Aug 28, and having a late lunch at Kona. We are planning on getting in at 4 pm, doing some rides, then have a light counter service dinner, maybe 6 - 6:30 pm. I have read the list of the CS restaurants open for the party but we were hoping to eat at Columbia Harbor House. Does anyone know if this is open prior to the party starting. We are not big fans of Cosmic Rays or Caseys.

To the people who were wondering if it's "all it's cracked up to be" we went in March and had a BLAST! So much so, I convinced my mom to go this time, and buy my tickets ... lol, oops! I didn't mean for her to have to buy them, but when she offered, who can say no.

When we went in March, we waited 45 mins to see Capt. Jack. I heard you should go and see him EARLY. I don't know how early they start bringing him around though ... but we'll find out Saturday.

The other poster is correct, the fireworks and parade are AWESOME. My daughter was in awe of the parade, and when Tink came out, a life sized Tink on top of a treasure chest, I thought she was going to pass out from giddyness.

When we went, there was a 15 minute "wait" for Space Mountain, though it was really a walk on. I cannot remember if we rode anyother rides or not. I'm sure we did, but it was a long time ago.

This time, are plans are to see as many characters as possible. The princes are out with their princesses. We saw Prince Charming last time, and this time my little one keeps talking about seeing Snow White and Pochantas.

I can't wait until Sautrday.

Who was it that was going soon? Did you go yet? How was it? Any tips? I read that there isn't much time for anything other than show, parade, fireworks, but do you think we'll get some time for rides if we get in at 4?

Thanks so much. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! princess: princess: pirate: princess: pirate: princess: pirate:
