Pirate Adventure for 3yr.old (almost 4)?

Does anyone know how strict Disney is on the age limit for their Pirate Adventure?

It says 4yrs old and potty trained. My son is 3 (almost 4) and has been potty trained for several months now. He loves older kids and has done the cookie class @ Epcot & loved it!

Do you think they will take him? Should I fib a little and say he's 4? Has anyone sent their 4 yr old on this? PLMK

Our boys 8 and 4 just did the cruise and my 8yo was one of the oldest children there. Definitely it's younger kids and your almost 4yo will probably love it. They did not check age, although, we had to sign something and can't remember if I had to put age down then or not. It's a very well-organized little boat ride with the kids all wearing striped Mickey pirate hats and life vests. They came back with a bag full of loot and were quite happy with it!

If you don't mind lying, go for it. Heck, why play by the rules when you can just fib?

Honestly, I don't understand this mentality. The rules exist for a reason, and yes, they do apply to everyone. I know for the Disney child care centers the age limit is based on Florida law, and I'm willing to bet this is no different.

I see this is your first post, but this can be a really hot button issue. I'm not trying to be snotty, but I just don't understand why people *ever* expect the rules to be bent just for them.

I had the same situation last year...my boy was 1 month shy of his 4th B/day and had been potty trained. I called and asked them if he could do the Pirate Cruise and they told me absoulty NOT! They said maybe next time he is here he could do it. We are going in February and I hope he can do it then.
