Pins on the plane?

I wasn't sure where to ask this, so I hope this is the right spot! I have a few Disney pins on my backpack, as well as a couple non-Disney pin-back buttons. Will that be a problem on the plane? Should I put them in my checked bag for the plane ride and then put them back on my bag when we get there? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

They are like any other metal object, and need to go through the security scanners. That is all.
