Does anyone have any recs for Ebay? I'm just looking for a pin set in bulk at an affordable price to just trade for fun. I've never traded before, and DH mentioned wanting to give it a shot on our last trip.

TIA!!

The bulk pins on Ebay are usually fakes. I would ask in the collectors forums there will be plenty of info there.

I buy pins in bulk from ebay every trip. We buy 100 pins for $60. I purchase from a dealer with a great rating and the pins are genuine. Just check out the sellers feedback first. It is a great way to get trading pins.

Happy trading.

I purchased from the following below and found the pins to be great. Especially the individual ones! Never had problems trading the 60 lot from sleepys_emporium. I believe the pin trading forum had him listed as a "green" seller.

- 60? a loose lot (meaning not attached to card) from "sleepys_emporium"
- 3 specific pins I wanted from "meekd100" ($5, $6, $15)
- 1 specific pin I wanted from "don-san" ($6)
- 1 specific pin I wanted from "bizzybee1"

I buy pins from e bay. I bought 20 of them for something like 30 bucks. They were real pins good sized and I even had a few I wanted to keep for myself. I say the way to start out is through e bay and not pay for the expensive ones at the park. They sure have some nice ones at the parks though.

I bought pins from Olivejuiceyou21 and thewill (both green sellers from the collectors board) from ebay and they were 100% real. In fact, we liked some of them ourselves and ended up keeping them.

I have bought from jefferyyoung on Ebay several times. Every pin that he has sent me I have seen in the parks. I am going to buy some more from him to take on our next trip.

check out this thread on good/bad internet pin sellers over on the collector's board

Only true collectors can tell the real from the fakes. They all look authentic. They're all "tradable." I just try to be responsible and not perpetuate the market for fakes. You can buy in bulk from a reputable seller (according to the collectors) on ebay for $2 or less per pin. Pretty good! Actually a nice collector gave me an email contact for a seller and it was a great transaction. I felt I did the best I could to avoid buying fakes, yet didn't pay park prices, so I wouldn't be worried when my kids trade and inevitably aquire fakes from the CMs' lanyards.

Fantastic tips; thanks everyone!!

I didn't realize there was an entire board for this; I'm definitely a newbie!!!
