Pins educate me please!

We did a little pin trading in 07. We are returning in 2 weeks!

I bought a lot of 40 pins off ebay, all seem real, good quality etc...
12 have hidden mickeys. Are these just a fun thing to look for or are they important some how? How do I know if any are LE or any other special pin?
I am really just wanting pins for the kids to trade.

They have lots of great info on pins and may have some tips on looking up values.

The hidden mickey pins are also called cast lanyard pins - they are pins you can only trade for from cast members - they are not sold in the parks.
